MJC Law, Kate Jackson and Leah Winstanley shortlisted for Yorkshire Legal Awards 2022

MJC Law are thrilled to announce they have been shortlisted for a total of three awards at the Yorkshire Legal Award 2022.

MJC Law has been shortlisted for Small Law Firm of the Year 2022, Kate Jackson has been shortlisted in the category of Partner of the Year 2022 and Leah Winstanley has been shortlisted in the category of Trainee Solicitor of the Year 2022. Kate specialises in Court of Protection and Mental Health law and has been practising in Yorkshire, her home county, for the last 7 years having moved out of area at the start of her career.

Kate says “it’s incredible that the firm is being recognised in our local community in this way. My fellow directors and I are extremely proud of our staff and what we are all achieving, especially during what has been some trying times. Being shortlisted for these three awards is testament to the hard work and commitment our people have to our clients, our values and supporting each other.”

Leah specialises in Court of Protection and has flourished throughout her training contact at MJC Law. Leah says “I am extremely excited to be shortlisted for this award. I am very grateful for the support I have received during my training contract so far and the nomination for Small Law Firm of the Year is a testament to how great the firm is.”

Kate and Leah’s achievements in being shortlisted for their respective categories is very exciting and we have no doubt they will achieve more in the future. The MJC Law team are very proud to have been shortlisted for Small Law Firm of the Year 2022.

The Yorkshire Legal Awards 2022 awards ceremony will take place on 6 October 2022 in Leeds where the winners will be announced.
