Leah completed her law degree at the University of Leeds and graduated in July 2019. During her studies Leah volunteered at Leeds City Council within the welfare rights clinic aiding vulnerable individuals with benefits claims. It was her experience through volunteering and studying the law surrounding mental capacity and mental health where she developed her passion for working with vulnerable clients.
Leah’s keenness to develop her expertise in supporting and working with people with mental illnesses and impairments led to her joining MJC Law as a paralegal in June 2019. Leah commenced her training contract with the Firm on 1 September 2021. She primarily assists Kate Jackson and Ashley Bradley in the Leeds office.
