On 7 November 2024, members of the MJC Law team tackled the Leeds Mind Firewalk challenge at Victoria Gardens in Leeds.
This was a mental challenge where the team walked barefoot over red-hot embers which were a temperature of more than 500 degrees Celsius, all in aid of the Leeds Mind charity. The team participated in this mental challenge to raise vital funds for Leeds Mind, a charity that provides valuable mental health services and support to those with mental health difficulties in the Leeds area.
The team are grateful for all donations, and support in the run up to the challenge and have raise £750 for Leeds Mind. The Just Giving page also remains live if you wish to show your support to this important charity.

Kate Jackson, Solicitor and Director, who participated in the challenge has said, “it was a pleasure and a privilege to be able to extend MJC Law’s support of Leeds Mind and take part in the Firewalk, raising funds for this much needed local cause. MJC Law would like to thank everyone who sponsored us to walk over coals of over 500 degrees centigrade, to the team who plucked up the courage to do it, and to the organisers who put on such a well-run and well attended event for local charities”.
Katie Hall, Trainee Solicitor, who also undertook the challenge commented, “it was wonderful to be able to participate in the Firewalk challenge and to raise vital funds for Leeds Mind, an invaluable local charity. Thank you to all those who donated and backed us in this challenge”.
Well done to those who participated and thank you to all those for your support!
