MJC Law is delighted to announce that our Practice Manager, Helen Fanning has been awarded Practice Manager of the Year Award at Nottinghamshire Law Society’s Annual Awards 2022.
Helen joined MJC Law in February 2021 and was presented the award due to her delivering some very impressive outcomes over the last 12 months.
In July 2021 MJC won Legal Aid Law Firm of the Year at the prestigious Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year Awards, which was in large part down to the strength of the application drafted by Helen.
Helen successfully navigated MJC Law through our recent Specialist Quality Mark audit where we received comments such as “the firm won Legal Aid Law Firm of the Year this year (2021) and clearly this was well deserved” and “the firm has an excellent reputation”.
As well as her achievements within MJC Law, Helen goes over and beyond in supporting other organisations within the legal community and is currently Chair of Nottinghamshire Law Society’s Education and Training Committee. Helen is committed to legal aid and is hugely knowledgeable in all matters relating to legal aid and sits on the advisory committee at the Legal Aid Practitioners, which is a representative body for legal aid practitioners.
Lauren Crow, Solicitor and Director said “I can confidently say that I don’t what we would do without Helen. Helen’s competence and diligence cannot be overstated. The way in which she manages the day-to-day running of MJC law means that the rest of the team can concentrate on fee earning which, in turn, has helped us to develop a reputation for being nationally renowned experts in the provision of Court of Protection and mental health services”.
