Ashley Bradley and Helen Dunn Shortlisted for Prestigious National Legal Aid Awards

MJC Law is delighted to announce that two members of our team, Ashley Bradley and Helen Dunn, have been shortlisted for the prestigious 2026 Legal Aid Lawyer of the Year (LALY) Awards. Organised annually by the Legal Aid Practitioners Group, the LALY awards celebrate the exceptional work carried out across the legal aid sector and recognise the individuals and Firms making a real difference to access to justice.

Ashley Bradley has been shortlisted for the Social Welfare Award, highlighting her continued commitment to achieving the best possible outcomes for her clients, many of whom are amongst the most vulnerable people in society. Ashley’s compassion and dedication reflect the values at the heart of MJC Law, and her shortlisting highlights the positive impact she continues to make.

Helen Dunn has been shortlisted for Legal Aid Support Staffer. This reflects her exceptional work ethic and the invaluable support she provides across the firm. Her hard work and reliability have a significant impact on both the team and our clients and her contribution is greatly appreciated by everyone around her.

The LALY awards, now in their 24th year, are widely regarded as one of the most important celebrations of legal aid practitioners and this year’s ceremony will take place in London on 3 July 2026.

Everyone at MJC Law is incredibly proud of Ashley and Helen for this fantastic achievement. To be shortlisted nationally is a remarkable recognition of their hard work, dedication and the difference they make every day.

Congratulations to all those shortlisted this year, and we look forward to celebrating alongside those across the legal aid sector at the awards ceremony in July!
