MJC Law are thrilled to announce the addition of two new paralegals and one solicitor apprentice to the MJC team. Eliot Griffin and Gregory Turpin are paralegals, based in our Leeds office and Joseph Miller is a Solicitor Apprentice, based in our Nottingham office.
Eliot completed an LLM at Nottingham Trent University, followed by several years working in Adult’s Services, and then Children’s Social Services, where he developed an interest in supporting vulnerable people.
Gregory studied history at the University of Sheffield. He then worked as a carer at two dementia-specialist homes where he gained experience in supporting people with dementia, learning disabilities and mental health conditions. Gregory then went on to complete the GDL and LPC at BPP University in Leeds. Gregory then entered the profession working in a national law firm in the Court of Protection department before moving to MJC.
Joseph completed his A-levels in 2023, studying Law, Business and Politics. During his studies, Joseph spent his spare time working as a basketball coach, giving him the opportunity to teach basketball to young, vulnerable children. This gave Joseph the desire to enter the legal profession and help vulnerable individuals. Joseph will be completing his solicitor apprentice alongside his studies at Nottingham Trent University.
Lauren Crow, Solicitor and Director, says “We are delighted to welcome the three latest additions to the team! We are committed to bringing through the next generation of legal aid lawyers so that we can continue and expand our offering of legal services to some of the most vulnerable members of society”.
The addition of Eliot, Gregory and Joseph will aid MJC Law’s continued commitment to conducting publicly funded work at a top level and achieving results that will benefit their clients.
