Lauren Crow appointed as SEND Judge

We are pleased to announce that in August 2024, Lauren Crow was appointed as a Judge in the First-tier Tribunal (Special Educational Needs & Disability).

The Special Educational Needs & Disability Tribunal is responsible for handing appeals against local authority decisions regarding special educational needs. Lauren is a highly experienced Court of Protection and Community Care Solicitor and so naturally possesses much of the required knowledge and understanding for this role.

Lauren is extremely passionate about access to justice for those who are vulnerable and less fortunate, and so we have no doubt that she will be a fantastic fit and will serve society greatly.

Lauren will work in her role as a Judge alongside her responsibilities as Director and Solicitor at MJC, and her role as current President of Nottinghamshire Law Society.

We are extremely proud of Lauren’s appointment and have no doubt that she will make a brilliant Judge.  We look forward to seeing what Lauren will achieve in this role.
