Molly Smallwood is a paralegal specialising in Court of Protection work at MJC’s Nottingham office. Molly graduated with a Law degree from the University of Nottingham in 2024, where she developed a strong interest around mental health and mental capacity law.
Before joining MJC, Molly worked in a small legal aid firm, assisting with cases involving mental capacity, best interests decisions, and proceedings under the Mental Capacity Act. This experience deepened her commitment to pursuing a career in Court of Protection and advocating for vulnerable individuals.
Molly is currently studying for the SQE and hopes to qualify as a solicitor specialising in this area of law.
Molly joined MJC Law in August 2025 and primarily assists Lauren Castle.
