Solicitor Apprentice – Nottingham Office
The Solicitor Apprenticeship is a six-year route to qualifying as a solicitor, and combines work & study and allows candidates to work towards qualifying as a solicitor alongside their day job at a law firm. This role will be supporting solicitors with case work and administration for Court of Protection, Mental Health and Community Care matters.
Total hours per week: 35 and usual office hours are 9am – 5pm with one hour for lunch

What will the apprentice be doing?
- Supporting solicitors, trainees and paralegals as required with administration and the progression of casework
- Ensuring a high level of client satisfaction and customer care
- To assist with Legal Aid Agency contract requirements such as funding, billing and compliance
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
Training in relation to the job role will be provided onsite and the training provider towards the professional qualification will be provided by Nottingham Trent University. This will include occasional study weekends.
Level 7 Solicitor Degree Apprenticeship
Completion of the course will gain you an LLB law degree, LLM qualification and prepare you to undertake the new Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE). Successful completion of Stages 1 and 2 of the SQE allows you to formally qualify as a solicitor.
