Ashley specialises in personal welfare and deprivation of liberty cases in the Court of Protection. Ashley studied law at Sheffield Hallam University before joining a national firm as a paralegal within their Public Law team. She progressed her legal studies through CILEX Law School and qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive in June 2019, whilst working full time.

It was during the five and half years working in her previous role, that she developed her desire to specialise in Court of Protection work and her passion for helping some of the most vulnerable people in society and their families. Having worked initially in Sheffield and then Leeds, Ashley has developed extensive contacts in the Yorkshire area and worked hard to further Court of Protection work in the region.
