Lauren Crow has received the prestigious Junior Lawyer of the Year award at the Law Society Excellence Awards.
At a star studded event at Grosvenor House on Park Lane in London on 17 October 2018, solicitors from the UK and further afield and other professionals gathered together to celebrate the achievements of those nominated.
Lauren beat off stiff competition from other hopefuls from bigger and more established firms. The judges commented on Lauren’s commitment to publicly funded Court of Protection work and said “her expert reputation in Court of Protection work blew our judges away”.
Lauren practises in the welfare jurisdiction of the Court of Protection. She has been praised by the judiciary for her approach in dealing with vulnerable and incapacitated clients and was named in the Legal 500 at two years qualified. This year, she became a director and joint owner of MJC Law.
Managing Director, Conor Maguire, comments “for everyone who knows Lauren, it came as no surprise that she won the Law Society’s Junior Lawyer of the Year award for 2018. Since becoming a paralegal through to her qualification as a solicitor and since, from delivering for clients to supporting colleagues, she has been always been driven to succeed and has achieved in 4 years what most never achieve by opening her own firm.
